To mark the 70th anniversary of the 1944 Paris Liberation and the end of the Second World War, you are all invited to attend the monumental video show Ami, entends tu ? – “My friend, do you hear … ?” – which will be presented in the Cour d’Honneur of the Hotel national des Invalides on May 9, 2015.
Organized by the Association Ami, entends tu ?, this show pays tribute to the heroic commitment of the Companions of the Liberation, some of whom are not well known – or completely forgotten – by France’s collective memory. Produced by Antonin Le Guay and directed by Manon Savary, this show will combine theatrical arts with advanced technology. This original performance was created in partnership with the French National Audiovisual Institute and the Radio France Group. Great performers will take part in the show such as Jean Piat who will act as the narrator, joined by Jacques Weber, Ana Girardot, Francis Huster, Sarah Biasini and Bruno Solo who will blend their voices while reading the Resistants’ last written words.
