European Heritage Days 2015 will begin within seven days: an opportunity for the museum to unveil its concealed curiosities.
On the occasion of European Heritage Days 2015, the musée de l’Armée will open its doors and offer visitors an exclusive opportunity to discover the richness of its collections around many special events celebrating its concealed curiosities.
We hope that you will be able to join us and take part in the following events:
- Guided tours: “The Hidden Heritage of the Hotel des Invalides” ;
- A presentation of the restauration workshops of the museum (metal, leather and textiles) ;
- A presentation of the restauration workshops of the ECPAD ;
- Watching and handling artefacts workshops ;
- Workshops and handling sessions will also be organized in the Court of Honour, by specialists of the art restoration and art transportation professions, and around the restoration of the bronze statue of Napoleon by Charles-Emile Seurre.
September 19 and 20, 2015: access to the museum and all organized events will be free of charge, from 10 am to 6 pm.
