The Conquistadors of the musée de l’Armée setting out to conquer the musée Quai Branly !

On the occasion of the special exhibition Inca and the Conquistador organized by the musée du Quai Branly (24 June – 20 September 2015), several exceptional artefacts are on loan by the musée de l’Armée.

This special exhibition gives us the opportunity to present a dozen ancient weapons, among which a crossbow craniquin with its quarrel, a 16th century leather caparison used as a saddle and a horse protection as well, and armour worn by conquistadores during the 15th and 16th centuries.
